Hastings Week 2006

The Earlyworks Press/Royal Pictoria Book Fair and Exhibition

at the Unitarian Church Hall, Hastings

At this gathering of small press and specialist publishers, independent authors and others interested in the publishing and bookselling trade, the winners of the Earlyworks Press Novel Idea Competition were announced.

First prize went to Valerie Ishii, who is well on the way to completing 'No More Ginger' - a superb novel based on her experiences as an English teacher, wife and mother working in Japan.
