Dennis was born in the University of Bologna, Italy in 1946. He writes
science fiction, crime stories and poetry. He carries out literary and
historical research. He is an ex-RAF officer with 25 years service and
world-wide travel experience – everywhere from the penguin colonies in
the
Falklands
to the Greenland Icecap. He
has climbed in many parts of the world and is a qualified snow and ice
climbing instructor. He has also served as a Snowdonia National Park
Warden. He has been writing stories since the age of four – though
no-one could read them until he was about seven.
David has experience of what goes on behind the scenes in
government and other places which if he told you about he’d have to
kill you; this helps with the book plots. He is a Chartered Fellow of
the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development, and a member of
the Royal Photographic Society. He holds a Licentiateship in Information
Technology from the City & Guilds Institute.
David has written many factual books which have sold thousands of
copies. He is a national level expert in equality & diversity and
acts as a consultant to government agencies and further education
colleges. He is married with
three children and five grandchildren. David is currently writing a
