Jung's People

by Kay Green

_______________________________________________________
Are you a parent, a child or a lover? Are you a fighter, a healer or a straw in the wind? What happens when we improvise and reject society's scripts? We find that there are older, deeper roles laid out for us - those driven by mythology, by instinct and by fate.

"...Kay Green draws on Jungian philosophy to create a compelling and intellectually stimulating collection. This is another excellent collection from Elastic Press and well worth reading. Jung would, I think, be proud of this child."
- from Prism: The magazine of the British Fantasy Society

ISBN: 978 906451 01 1

Anatomy of an Air Crash

How Culture Decides Your Fate

An unambiguous critique of the industry by

Terry Tozer - photo portrait

Terry Tozer

a_pilot_with_20_years_in_the_business

Read an Extract

www.terrytozer.co.uk

An entertaining, if worrying, analysis of the impact of politics and big business on a hard won safety culture. The assault led by corporate managers who cannot fly and yet ignore pilot’s criticisms.

Ride on the flight deck with the author as your commentator. Witness take offs, landings, simulator checks and even well known crashes. Then understand why he is worried.

Get answers to questions you have always asked yourself. Is Turbulence dangerous? Is the pilot asleep? What IS that noise? What do crews do on a night-stop? Did the engineer leave a spanner in the works?

Even the most nervous passenger will want to read it, as knowledge is power and you will learn which airlines not to fly with and an awful lot more.________________________________

The Central Proposition by David Dennis

___________________________

A marvelously rich historical story interwoven with incidental details and imaginatively created backgrounds that kept me fascinated and well into it all.  With an easy direct style of writing, consistent tone and lots of variety in language and vocabulary, it is for me a hugely entertaining and instructive read.  I loved it and it gave me all those people and places to google as well.- JL

Walrus on a Rocking Chair'

by David R Morgan:

Club reviewer Terry Sorby says:  'A simply well illustrated book that lacks nothing....Easy to read...often leaving you with a wisp of a smile at the corner of your mouth. Don’t know if I’m mistaken or not, but I think David has left a subliminal message within the front cover, the transparency of the walrus revealing the rocking chair, very effective
Children especially will love this whilst grown ups can reflect on another time.  The line I like the most is: “I’ve shared my sweets with baby, she only choked a bit”

This is one of a series of fun biographical histories from publishers Miles Kelly.

Easy to read and understand even the big words, complimented by the very witty line drawings. I would recommend this to any parent, guardian, teacher or young person with an appetite for good reading matter.
